Biography

When I was in elementary school, I see his picture in my textbook made me want to be a Picasso. But I had no chances to learn formal fine arts because I grew up at Yamaguchi Prefecture where is rural area. I entered Department of Civil Engineering & Architecture of National Institute of Technology Tokuyama College. Then I hoped major in the art architecture, but I was not selected. So I get a position local public employee after I graduated from Civil Engineering.

In administrative work, I was charge with the city planning design, and I was engaged in construction in a first real windmill in Japan.I took charge of basic Perth that made expectation to the art when I'm young. I came to aim at an illustrator. The camera is changed to digital, so I using my computer to make a work changing a color as I expected.

I became the Cortina prize (the second place) by an illustration contest of KODANSHA FAMOUS in 2010 and I participated in the New York Boston art training as a supplementary prize. My hope is change to become an artist from become an illustrator. In the Next year, I aim to become an artist for that reason, I retire early civil servants in the 52 years old. After that I won the grand prize winners in various nationwide contest every year.

Many people hardly think beautiful to look such as rust or cracks graffiti. My work of art is born by thinking it is beautiful. The marvelous balance and color are invented when once of I converted photography data several times, and I'm impressed for it. The change that glass cracked occurs for the art that I printed because of a special collage method accidentally. I'm impressed for it again.

Monzo渡邉の半生

小学生の時、教科書でピカソの絵を見てピカソになりたいと感じる。ただ、山口県という地方で生まれたため、本格的なアートを学べる機会がなかった。国立徳山工業高等専門学校　土木建築工学科に進学。そこでアート建築を希望したが選考に漏れ、土木工学を卒業の後、地元の公務員として就職する。 行政の仕事では、都市計画デザインの担当となり、日本で初めてとなる本物の風車の建設に従事する。基本パースを担当することで幼い時のアートへの思いが芽生え、イラストレーターを目指すようになる。当初は、カメラがデジタルに変わり、パソコンを使用して、色彩を思うように変える作品を創るようになる。

2010年講談社フェーマスのイラストコンテストにてコーチナ賞（2位）となり、副賞としてニューヨーク・ボストンアート研修に参加した。この研修でイラストレーターになる希望がアーティストになる希望へ変化する。翌年アーティストを目指すため52歳で公務員を早期退職。以後毎年様々な全国コンテストにて大賞入賞を受賞する。
多くの人が、錆やひび割れ落書きなどを見て美しく思うことはない。それを、美しいと感じることから作品が生まれる。撮影データーを変換すると偶然の画像変換が驚きのバランスや色彩を生み出し、感動する。プリントしたアートに特殊なコラージュ方法によってガラスがひび割れたような変化が偶然に生じる。再び感動する。黒い部分は、漆のようになり、淡い部分は、螺鈿やガラス細工のような表現ができる。
